Blessed with a stunning 8km long Blue Flag beach, holidays in Sunny Beach offer the best of the Balkan's sun, sea and sand all in a vibrant environment. This modern holiday town is popular among families, backpackers and party hunters for its energetic nightlife scene, while Sunny Beach also has a great choice of pubs, clubs and bars alongside numerous open-air events and beach parties.

When you're not hitting the beach or enjoying the cocktails, you can visit the nearby UNESCO-listed town of Nessebar, enjoy fantastic food on the waterfront and make time for the markets and malls. Sunny Beach holidays are also great for fun-loving families, with the nearby Aquapark the ideal place to enjoy watersports, pedalos and a selection of day cruises.

July and August are the best months to visit Sunny Beach to enjoy its stunning scenery. Bourgas Airport at a distance of 27km is the nearest airport from which to reach Sunny Beach, while it takes only 30 minutes to reach the town centre. You can also fly to Varna Airport, which is around 100km from Sunny Beach. The town is well connected to all major tourist hotspots in the neighbourhood.

Soak Up Sunny Beach

Sun, sea and sand! As the name indicates, Sunny Beach is a beach lover's paradise. Holidaymakers flock to this golden shoreline, strolling along the sands, trying their hand at whacky watersports, indulging in leisurely beachside lunches or even taking a sunset ride on horseback. Sunny Beach is the place to be, especially in the high season and you'll find it hard to tear yourself away from this pleasantly busy sandy stretch.

Start your evening with a bite to eat in the popular and lively Bubbles Beach Bar, but remember not to get carried away with the 2-for-1 cocktails and free shots as the night is just beginning!
