Varna Holidays

Varna Holidays are recommended for those who like to stay near the sea, yet have full access to the city, night clubs and shopping malls. The Varna region is nearly 4,000 square kilometers in northeastern Bulgaria, with the Black Sea bracketing one side. The largest and deepest lake on the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast is Lake Varna, which is a picturesque spot popular with sailing enthusiasts. Separated from the sea by a 2km strip of sand, it’s a great place for fishing and watersports – it plays host to windsurfing contests too. Take a walk around the lake, where you will surely catch sightings of waterfowl, storks and herons.

Sunny Beach or Golden Sands?

The turquoise waters and golden sands (as the most popular resort is aptly named) make the northern Black Sea Coast resort Varna an ideal holiday destination, where you can enjoy whacky watersports and kick back on a sun lounger. If you want an afternoon of action, head to the famous Sunny Beach, an 18km stretch full of accessories including football pitches and fairground games!
