As a British citizen, you don’t need your passport for Belfast, except perhaps as identification, if you are flying within the UK, including Northern Ireland. EU citizens must carry a passport or national identity card, while travellers from other countries require a valid passport. There’s no passport control between Belfast and Dublin, so you won’t be asked for it if you’re travelling between the two cities.

Belfast International Airport offers a regular bus service to and from the city centre, taking around 30mins and costing up to £10. There is no direct train service but the bus shuttle from the centre can be reached via Europa Bus Station next to Great Victoria Train Station. It also offers ample on-site parking and can be reached from the M3.
