Lutania Beach Hotel

The Lutania Beach hotel is situated right on the beach of the Kolymbia bay offering spectacular views of the Mediterranean Sea. The hotel consists of the main central building and two adjacent side wings, set along the beachfront. So most of the rooms offer either direct sea view or side sea view. There are also 10 garden view double rooms each one offering a private pool. The hotel was built in 1990 on an art deco style and was last fully renovated in 2017. The Lutania Beach has an idyllic location which constitutes the ideal choice for families and couples alike. The sea water is neither too deep nor too shallow, while the beach is partly sandy with pebbles offering the ultimate holiday experience.

Hotel Directions

The hotel is easily accessible by car or taxi from both the airport and main port in Rhodes Town. Tourists are only required to drive following the main road direction to Lindos and just after the village of Afantou, on the junction to Archipoli village, turn left towards Kolymbia Beach. There are also regular bus connections to various parts of the island on a daily basis. A bus stop is located very close to the hotel. A free hotel parking lot is also available.

Within a short walking distance, one can also find activities such as water sports, jet-ski and canoe. You can also explore the vicinity of Kolymbia bay on foot or by bike, or go trekking or even hiking on Tsambika's hill and even set off for excursions to the island’s mountainous and thickly forested inland by car, and simply indulge in the history and the natural beauty of the area which serves as an ideal alternative during the hot summer season. For Golf lovers, the well-known Afandou Golf course, one of the first and most famous in Greece, is located just under 2 miles away, separated by the unique and lengthy Afandou beach.

In contrast, the swimming pool area allows for an unhindered 180o view towards the sea, giving the impression of being part of the horizon itself. It is a place inspiring relaxation not only during day but especially during the sunset and beyond. In daylight, sun beds provide the most comfortable way to catch the sun, while in the evening, as sun sets and the horizon wears its deep bluish purple gown, you can sip exotic cocktails and enjoy the breathtaking view towards the endless sea.
