Established in 1993, the Montana Pine Resort is a family-owned all inclusive resort set in a quiet and peaceful location amongst the pine forests around Mount Babadag. The resort is ideal for families, couples and friends looking for a leisurely and restful break with its numerous restaurants, bars and swimming pools. The resort is spread throughout the forest with the rooms and suites designed in a sympathetic way to the natural pine surroundings. The Montana Pine Resort also provides a Crocus Spa and Wellness centre where guests can enjoy therapies and treatments to enrich their stay. Whilst there is plenty to do on site, guests might also like to explore the National Park at Ölüdeniz or participate in watersports at Fethiye Bay.

Location

The Montana Pine Resort is situated near Fethiye in south west Turkey. The hotel is set on one side of the valley which has the main road between Fethiye and Ölüdeniz running through it. This hillside of Mount Babadag, which dominates the area, is in the midst of a pine forest at about 400 meters above sea level. The hotel is found at the start of a popular hiking trail called the Lycian Way which stretches 335 miles east to Antalya. The nature reserve at Ölüdeniz, where the stunningly beautiful blue lagoon is found, is only 2.7 miles. The nearest airport is Dalaman airport which is 36 miles along the coast.

Room Types

The rooms are set in numerous low-rise buildings throughout the site. All feature pine balconies and red tiled roofs. There are 159 rooms available which are divided into Double Rooms, Twin Rooms, Triple Rooms, Superior Rooms and Suites. The 90 Mountain Rooms decorated in pine in a traditional style can accommodate twin, double or triple beds. The 38 Superior Valley Rooms with their luxury in a traditional style are available with twin or double beds and are located by the Dolphin pool and restaurant which are popular with families. The 26 Valley Rooms, with their contemporary traditional look, feature twin or double beds and are also close to the Dolphin facilities. The 5 Mountain Suites suitable for families have a double bed in the bedroom and two singles within the living area as well as two bathrooms. All rooms contain a satellite TV, air conditioning, bathrooms with bathtub or shower, minibar, safe, direct dial telephone, hair dryer, coffee and tea making facilities and a balcony overlooking the landscaped site.

Food and Drink

The three restaurants and four bars available on site give guests a fantastic choice of locations at which to enjoy their meals. The Pinewood Restaurant, as the name suggests, is set amongst the forest with a fabulous view of the pine trees and valley. It serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Dolphin cafe is located by the Dolphin pool serving lunch, snacks and drinks. The Marmara restaurant serves delicacies and dishes adjacent to the Marmara pool. There is also an à la carte restaurant open two nights per week with limited capacity. Reservation is essential here. The Ege, Sunset, lobby, and Greenhouse bars ensure guests have plenty of choice for drinks and refreshments.

Sports, Games and Entertainment

The three swimming pools and two children’s pools at the Montana Pine Resort give guests plenty of opportunity to relax and enjoy the tranquil surroundings of the forest. The Ege pool features stunning views of Mount Babadag whilst the Marmara pool is next to the restaurant of the same name – both feature natural stone sun decks. The Dolphin pool is most favoured by families as there is also the Dolphin children’s pool here. These overlook the valley and forests. The Spa and Wellness centre offer Turkish bath, steam, massage and other treatments and therapies. Sportier guests can enjoy tennis, table tennis, mini-golf, archery and the fitness centre. Live music and shows will keep guests entertained at night.
