Booking your annual summer holiday is always exciting, from researching your dream location to picturing yourself lounging on exotic palm-lined sands. But what if we told you that the majority of your much-awaited holiday was spent scrolling through your emails, instead of soaking up the sunshine? We polled 2,000 holidaymakers across the UK and Northern Ireland in a bid to discover how good we really are at switching off when holiday season rolls around, and the answers may surprise you ...

We encourage ultimate R&R during your annual leave in order to recharge your batteries, and what better way to do so than with ourspectacular summer sale 2018 - with all your favourite destinations available from £199pp...

Some of our key findings show that almost half of those polled feel worried about leaving for their holiday in the days leading up to it, with the average person feeling the pressure almost a whole week before they board. Similarly, many workers put in an extra two and a half hours a day to ensure all loose ends are tied up before they go. Once abroad, four in 10 adults admit they continue to check work emails and make calls throughout their holiday, with one in 20 checking their emails before they even hit the breakfast buffet!

To achieve ultimate R&R, browse our most relaxing holiday destinations and wave goodbye to your wind-down woes...
